2012 PHOTO CONTEST
Once again it is
time for the Annual MHCO Photo Contest. So take some photos of
your Minis and send them to our web
master by midnight on February 29th, 2012.
The photos will
be posted on this site and voting will be done on line, during
the month of March 2nd to midnight March 31st, 2012.
The winners will be posted as soon
as possible after the closing date of March 31th, 2012.
Entry Rules:
(Please read the rules carefully as they have changed a bit this year)
1. Photos may be submitted by MHCO members only.
2. Each person may submit 2 photos,
total. Entrants may only enter 1 photo in any category. Each photo
must be sent with a clear indication to the category entered.
Any photos that are not, will not be used.
3. No professional or 'proof'
photographs permitted. Photos must have been taken by the person
submitting them or with permission from the photographer.
4. Captions are allowed on the
photos as long as no names or advertising is used.
5. *Photographs must
be e-mailed to the
webmaster. Each photograph e-mailed should not exceed 100KB
and should be in .jpg format. Please include your mailing address
(to be used for prize distribution only).
6. Photographs Can not be resubmitted from previous years.
7. Photographs Can not be photos used in advertisements.
*All photographs
received are considered the property of the MHCO and will not
be returned.
*All photographs received may be altered for sizing. Please try to use 4x6 formatted photos
The categories
for the 2012 contest are:
(you must designate which category for each
photo)
A) Minis and Kids
B) Minis at Work/Play
C) Minis with Other Animals
D) Humourous Shots of Minis
E) Club Fun (no horse necessarily in the photo)
F) My Horse (Youth
SUBMITTED photos only)
If multiple categories are won, then prize money can be accumulated off the winner’s future membership
Categories A-E
Grand Prize winners receive $10.00 off a future membership
Reserve Prize winners receive $5.00 off a future membership
Category F
Youth winners will receive a movie pass
This contest has
always been successful and great fun for all, so get those cameras
busy!
